Who
says you have to have a
kitchen range to make
holiday treats.
This class focuses on
using a microwave and
candy molds to make
holiday treats for the
whole family. Be
in the spotlight this
holiday season with your
homemade wonders; give
those gift boxed
chocolates for less.
“Candy making
preparation will center
on using the
microwave and candy
molds,” said Wolfe.
“Students will develop
the knowledge and
confidence to create
holiday treats for whole
family. We'll be
making chocolate
suckers, tootsie rolls,
turtles, chocolates,
peanut clusters,
flavored popcorn, fancy
pretzels, chocolate
cherry mice, candy
turkeys,” said Wolf.
“We’ll also learn how to
use candy molds.
I’ll offer
helpful hints, share
recipes, and there will
be samples to take
home.”
The class is being
offered for a special
fee of $25. The fee
must be paid on or
before the first night
of class. Students will
need to furnish their
supplies. The class
size is limited and
interested persons are
