Since 1968, the ICC Foundation has raised funds for
scholarship to recognize superior leadership, academic
achievement, and community service among ICC students and
assist them with unmet financial needs. The ICC
Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation organized
under Kansas law and is fiscally and organizationally
separate from Independence Community College.
Each year, the ICC Foundation provides $75,000.00 to ICC to
fund student scholarships. To help grow scholarship
funds, the ICC Foundation sponsors fundraising events in an
effort to enhance our scholarship programs. While
endowments and planned gifts guarantee future funding
sources for the ICC Foundation, monies raised through events
will provide immediate financial support for ICC Foundation
scholarships.
The ICC Foundation is indebted to the many friends of the
college who help us, help ICC students achieve their
educational goals.
